This professional development session discusses sexological practice in the assessment and treatment of Genito Pelvic Pain/Penetration Disorder (GPPPD). Using a systematic framework of diagnosis and treatment; aetiology, contributing factors, client psychological vulnerabilities are discussed and taken into account. This session also includes models of practice, assessment questions, treatment options and case studies. 

Who should attend:

This webinar is designed for students and therapist who have an interest in the area of pelvic pain and/or are currently working with clients with this presenting issue. From this session, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the components of a treatment plan for GPPPD and insight into the condition through case studies.

Emma Stewart is a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Integrative Therapist and Sexologist with over 17 years experience. She specialises in sexual issues and Couples/Relationship therapy. She has a Masters in Sexology with a professional background in consultancy and education and provides education programmes, therapy and workshops within a diverse range of clinical and professional settings.
